Stars Coming Out for Sensational Songwriters and Shalom

The HIT MEN of music row
It seems like every night of the week, there is a different event. Some promote musicians/artists, others drive business to better restaurants, and even more that benefit charities. With all that’s going on, it is hard to make the choice on what to do or to attend.

One that’s coming up that I am particularly excited about is an invite-only affair slated for August 25 at the Loveless Barn. This isn’t an event we were lucky enough to sponsor, but one that I personally support due to both the cause and those involved. Hymns, Hams and Jams is a fundraiser for the Shalom Foundation and is going to be quite a night for those included on the guest list who choose to RSVP before space fills up. Super-star songwriters Bob Dipiero, Craig Wiseman, Jeffrey Steele and Tony Mullins (yes, the HIT MEN of music row) are providing the entertainment. The list of those already attending includes some of the top names in entertainment and business including Jay and Allison Demarcus, Kix and Barbara Brooks and Cassie and Charles Kelley). This will be a not-to-miss night for fun, music and fundraising. Getting in is free, but according to organizers – it will cost you to leave. The reason is that this dedicated group is looking to raise some serious bank for assisting healthcare and nutrition for impoverished children in Guatemala. So, don’t plan on coming with empty pockets, as you will need to make a donation – hopefully one that will make a difference. The Shalom Foundation is unique in that all of the funds go directly to those who need it most. It is one that has the attention of not only Music Row, but also a number of other philanthropists in the greater Nashville area.
